Location reasonably close to Rama Room was fantastic for overnight stay & very affordable. Staff were very accommodating. Great breakfast restaurant 2 minutes away at Friends,
Located in town close to ammenities.
The room was clean, but the window sills in the room and bathroom could have been vacuumed of the dirt and crumbling caulking.
I enjoyed the greeting I received and the interesting conversation with the owner of the motel and the interest he showed in me and my work related background. He gave me directions to areas of the city and seemed interested in my relaxation while at his motel. A good clean motel in this price range.
I enjoyed my stay and would go back there again. As a single traveler it was perfect for my needs. No complaints at all.
close to grocery store private entrance pleasant staff
Clean but outdated room.
Door lock needs to be repaired. Real hard to get key in and open up the room.
The rates for our team were top notch !!!!
I found the owner very accommodating and pleasant.
The room I had #17 was a great surprise, huge bath tub and shower, parking was great perfect place for a weekend away why pay tripple for a hotel at the casino when you can drive there in 10 minutes
There was nothing good about this motel...seriously.
The rooms were very, very dirty. Old mouldy beer bottles under the bed. Had to plug in a space heater for heat. Towels and sheets did not smell or look clean. Baseboards caked with dirt and carpets were filthy. Bathroom either gave you hot water or cold....not warm for a shower.
The Motel is infested with "bed bugs" and I hope it is fumigated soon...
The guy who checked us in was nice
I didn't like that there was hardly any springs left in the bed and when I sat I sank almost to the floor, the fridge must have came over on the Ark with Noah,it was old,VERY run down,Shabby...we tried to get our money back but the manager said that we booked over the internet so he couldn't do anything.we took the loss and stayed with relatives.not worth$5 night
It was cheap and convenient. It is not a fancy place, but it's exactly what we wanted - a room to sleep after a night at Casino Rama where we saw a concert.
Location to hockey rinks. We were in hockey tournament and needed a value price accommodation.
1/ Mayor rust on the outside of the bathtub wasn't too appealing. 2/ Decor from the 60's 3/ Matresses/bedding were likely 20+ years old.
I was looking for a basic, inexpensive place to stay while I was in Orillia for Mariposa Folk Festival. The Holiday Motel is definitely not luxurious - so if you're looking for something fancy, this is not the place for you. But it was very clean and the staff (probably the owners) were very friendly and helpful. The room had TV/cable, good wifi Internet access (essential for me), and hallelulah, a microwave and fridge! Motel-style I was able to park right at my door, so it was easy to carry in all my stuff, and "my" parking spot was always available no matter how late I came in at night. It was also very quiet - I'm a light sleeper and usually traffic noises or other visitors keep me awake, but that wasn't a problem at all.
When I drove in it looked a little rundown, but it redeemed itself by being clean, quiet, friendly, and having wifi, a fridge and microwave.
Door stuck and was very hard to open. Handle on toilet was busted.
